After the University approves a potential instructor's application, a letter is sent to the applicant and a copy to the faculty liaison to notify of approval or denial. Applicants who are denied approval are encouraged to visit with the Georgia Southern University contact to further discuss their qualifications.

Upon approval, instructors must interview with the University faculty liaison for the appropriate academic department on the topics of syllabus development and other topics as specified by the academic departments. Please note that approval to teach does not guarantee a class will be offered immediately.

The University faculty liaisons also run meetings and workshops with Senior to Sophomore high school teachers. We anticipate these sessions starting in the summer of 2009. Senior to Sophomore instructors must attend these campus meetings.
