In concurrence with our national organization, the American Educational Research Association, the theme of the annual meeting of GERA, 2008, is "Research on Schools, Neighborhoods, and Communities: Toward Civic Responsibility" . Our Luncheon Program will focus on the future of GERA as a vital resource for the educational community in our state. All presentation proposals must be submitted online. All submissions must be limited to 600 words (12 pt. font) including references. Proposals should address briefly all major aspects of presentation (e.g., statement of purpose, method (if applicable), conclusions). Proposals are being accepted through midnight EST September 5, 2008. You are encouraged to enter a completed paper to compete for the 2008 Outstanding Student Research Award or the 2008 Distinguished Paper Award.
