BOB HOELL
Bob Hoell is an assistant professor in the department of Management and Marketing in the College of Business Administration at Georgia Southern University. He holds a Ph.D. in Management and an M.S.B.A. in Human Resource Management and Labor Relations from Virginia Tech. In January of 2002 he was certified by the Society for Human Resource Management as a Senior Professional in Human Resources. Dr. Hoell joined the faculty at Georgia Southern in the fall of 2000.

He serves as both Educational Liaison for the Savannah Area Chapter of SHRM and as Faculty Advisor for the Georgia Southern University Student Chapter of SHRM.

His current interests focus strongly on Labor Relations, but also include Human Resource Management, Leadership, and Employee Morale and Motivation. He has published in these areas and has presented at numerous professional meetings. In addition, he has worked actively with local business partners providing training and expertise in these fields. Prior to his arrival at Georgia Southern University, he was twice the recipient of the American University School of Business Teaching award, where he taught in the executive Master's in Human Resource Management program. Since he has been at Georgia Southern, he was twice awarded a Summer Research Grant and the Bank of America Faculty Award. He is also the 2009 W.A. & Emma Lou Crider Award for Excellence in Teaching recipient.

SUSAN PINKSTON
A long-time member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Susan Pinkston is currently the Department Head for the Management and Supervisory Development program at Savannah Technical College. She has also worked as an adjunct instructor in Georgia Southern University's College of Business Administration.

She has worked in the human resources arena for many years and has an MS in Human Resource Management from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. Susan's professional experience in human resources has been as a generalist, including work in the newspaper, manufacturing, health care, retail, education, and hospitality fields.

BILL DUGLE
Currently retired, Bill Dugle joined the Olin Corporation as a "Personnel" Trainee in their chemical business upon graduation from the University of Pennsylvania. Across the next 15 years, he worked at four different plants and the Chemicals Group headquarters and eventually headed the HR function for the Group. The last eighteen years of his career, hewas either head of a Division HR function or the Chief Human Resources Officer for the Engelhard Corporation . While serving as VP, HR for Engelhard, he returned to the University of Pennsylvania and earned an MBA in their executive program.

With the exception of a two year period as a specialist, his entire career was spent working as an HR generalist. He has worked in union and nonunion environments, with production and maintenance staff, office and clericals, technical and non-technical professionals, executives including CEO's and Chairmen, and Boards of Directors.

PHILLIP TREMBLE
A native of Bulloch County, Phillip Tremble attended the Bulloch County Public School System and is a graduate of Georgia Southern University. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and holds national certification in human resources as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).

Phillip has twenty two years of experience in management to include eight years in retail grocery, five years in the staffing industry as a division manager, five years in the paper industry as a human resource generalist and one year as a safety manager, all with Georgia Pacific. For the past three years he has worked as the Director of Human Resources for Bulloch County Schools. He is also the past president for the Statesboro Ogeechee District Employer Committee, a member of the Magnolia Midlands SHRM chapter and the Bulloch County Alcohol and Drug Council, a CHOICES presenter for the Tri-County Work Force Consortium, the president of the men's organization in his church, on the Board of Directors for the Averitt Center for the Arts, and on the Board of Directors for the United Way.
