Our required one-hour orientation (6 to 7 pm, Monday, January 25) gives an overview of the class. Both the orientation and the class are held at the Coastal Georgia Center in Savannah. The class administrator will distribute the syllabus (what reading is due when) and your SHRM Learning System course materials, answer questions, and provide study tips for the class and the PHR/SPHR exam.
SHRM Discount Restrictions
Only current paid members of national SHRM or a local SHRM chapter can
register at the discount price. Please provide your name exactly as it
is listed on your SHRM membership card, along with your member ID number
and expiration date so we can confirm that you are current. If you belong
to a local SHRM chapter, we require confirmation from your Board leadership
that you are a current paid member at the time of registration.
This discount was provided to encourage current SHRM members to continue their professional development and career advancement.
Course Materials
The SHRM Learning System 2009 (valued at $595 and $695 for non-SHRM members)
is included in the course fee.
CANCELLATION POLICY
ancellations must be received at least 72 hours prior to the course for
a refund. Once the shrink-wrapped SHRM Learning System course materials
are opened, they cannot be returned for refund. Unpaid registrants who
neither attend nor cancel will be billed for the course. A $50 administrative
fee will be deducted for cancellations. Substitutions are suggested instead
of cancellations. Confirmations will be mailed upon request.
How to Pass the Course
In order to pass the course, participants must attend 70% or more of the
class sessions and earn 70% or better on the course final. Class graduates
receive a certificate of completion for having passed the 36-hour course.
This is separate from the national PHR/SPHR exam.
