James
Shelburn is currently President of Quality Safety Services, Inc. in
San Antonio, Texas. He has over thirty-seven years experience in safety
management, facility inspections, accident investigation, and hazard
risk analysis.
With over twenty years experience as an
instructor in accident prevention, OSHA safety, DOT Hazardous Materials,
and EPA Hazardous Waste compliance regulations, Mr. Shelburn is an
approved OSHA instructor in the General Industry Standards (29 CFR
1910) and the Construction Standards (29 CFR 1926).
In addition, he has completed
training programs in Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response,
FEMA Emergency Planning, DOT Hazardous Materials regulations, and EPA
Hazardous Waste Management.
Mr. Shelburn completed the Defense Hazardous
Materials/Hazardous Waste Handling Workshop through the U.S. Army Logistics
Management College, Ft. Lee, Virginia, and completed the Aviation Accident
Investigation Course conducted by the University of Southern California
in Los Angeles, California.
In addition to providing training in Georgia, Mr. Shelburn has taught courses in Texas, Tennessee, Ohio, California, New Jersey, and Louisiana. Companies and organizations that have used, or are currently participating, in his scheduled training courses, on-site training classes, and other programs include Boeing Aerospace, Campbell Soup Company, Cooper Tire, Dell Computers, General Electric, Goodwill Industries, Inc., Johnson & Johnson, Lockheed Martin, Merck Pharmaceutical, Port Authority of San Antonio, San Antonio Water System, Texas Army National Guard.
