| Dates: Thursdays, 3/28/2013 to 5/16/ 2013 Time: 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Location: Coastal Georgia Center, Savannah, GA Cost: $200 per person Join instructor Hugh Gale in exploring the many mediums of drawing, painting and printmaking. You will learn how to incorporate the Elements of Design: line, shape, size, direction, texture, tone and color with the Principles of Design: sequence, unity, proportion, emphasis and balance into numerous organizational possibilities that will improve your overall compositions. A material list will be provided the first day of class. |
| DRAWING II |
| Dates: TBA Time: 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Location: Coastal Georgia Center, Savannah, GA Cost: $150 per person Develop your drawing skills further. This class will explore the use of props and photographs to achieve strong composition. Students will be introduced to the elements of design, basics of portraiture and the interaction of color. Some previous drawing experience is required. |

| Dates: TBA Time: 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Location: Coastal Georgia Center, Savannah, GA Cost: $150 per person Drawing Studio is designed to help participants refine their drawing skills in the media of their choice. Class activities focus on the development of strong composition and include demonstrations in various drawing techniques. Possible drawing materials include charcoal, conte' crayon and pastels. Students should have taken Drawing II or have previous drawing experience. |

Through intriguing exercises we will explore perception and how it relates to what you put down on paper. Drawing activities will focus on using line, shadow and one point perspective.
