Session I: May 27-31
Session II: June 3-7
Five day residential camp including exploratory labs in Geology, Chemistry,
Ecology, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology, and Computers. All classes are
taught by Georgia Southern University professors. Camp concludes with a
Scientific Poster Conference - students will prepare PowerPoint presentations
and poster displays using data and photos generated during the week's laboratory
adventures. Participants live in Georgia Southern dormitories, eat at the
student food court and are guided by Georgia Southern student counselors.
Ages: for beyond sixth grade but not beyond ninth grade.
Required: A's last fall in science and math and two teachers recommendations
required. Partial and full scholarships may be available.
