CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS (CEU'S) 2010

Application will be submitted to the National Association of Social Workers, Georgia Chapter for 13 core continuing education hours.

Application will be submitted to the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia for 13 core/ethics continuing education hours.

Conference participants will be awarded 1.3 CEU's ( 13 Credit Hours) from the National Board of Certified Counselors, through the Division of Continuing Education and Public Service, Georgia Southern University, Continuing Education Provider # 4533.

PROFESSIONAL LEARNING UNITS (PLU'S) 2010

Application will be submitted for one (1) Professional Learning Unit (PLU) credit for participants who attend 10 hours of the conference. Recipients must successfully complete a short written examination of the material covered at the end of the conference. Successful PLU candidates will receive the PLU credit forms within 2-4 weeks following the conclusion of the conference. These forms may be submitted to employing GA public school systems for 1 credit toward certification renewal. PLU credit is used by employees of Georgia public school systems who currently hold certificates in an approved field (certified teachers, school counselors, administrators, etc.) as credit toward RENEWING their existing certificates.

A PLU Prior Approval Form must be filled out and signed prior to the conference.
