Held at the Coastal Georgia Center in Savannah's Historic District, this one-day conference will:

• Discriminate among the terms: dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and forgetfulness.
• Describe symptoms that commonly occur with Alzheimer’s disease/ dementia based on brain damage.
• Recognize behaviors that are indicative of dementia related conditions.
• Demonstrate seven key components in a positive physical approach when working with a person with dementia.
