COURSE DESCRIPTION
A review of the fundamentals of engineering covering primarily the areas of engineering sciences including mathematics, engineering mechanics, materials science, engineering economy, electrical circuits, thermodynamics and computers. The goal of the course is to provide a refresher to the course participants. The course structure and content are based on the premise that participants have had prior exposure to the material as part of their undergraduate degree training in engineering or engineering technology.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
The objective of the course is to revisit key topics typically included in each major domain of the engineering sciences. After completing the course, participants should be able to work out engineering problems typically encountered in the Fundamentals of Engineering examination which requires the application of fundamental principles in following areas: Mathematics, Statics, Dynamics, Strength of Materials, Fluid Mechanics, Materials Science, Electrical Circuits, Computers, Engineering Economy, and Thermodynamics
