Mathematics for Economics (Math Boot Camp)

This course is intended as a "refresher" for students in the Master of Science in Applied Economics program at Georgia Southern University. This 6 - week intensive course will be offered online beginning in May, 2010.

Topics covered include: Mathematical Models in Economics, Linear Models and Matrix Algebra, Comparative Statics, Derivatives, Differentiation Rules, Optimization, Exponential and Logarithmic Functions, Maximization of Multivariate Functions, Constrained Optimization. The course is offered as a non-credit course.
