Welcome to PLTW site at the Georgia Southern University

Project Lead the Way Inc. (PLTW) is a national program that promotes STEM education in the school systems across the country.

The program offers a hands-on, project-based approach to learning that prepares students for their college degrees. The program incorporates mathematics, science, technical skills, verbal, written and visual communication skills, team work, leadership skills and project management ability.

Georgia Southern is the affiliate university for PLTW in the state of Georgia providing summer teacher training sessions for the PLTW teachers, yearly conference for high school counselors, PLTW certification for Georgia schools and professional development for teachers. We are currently working on the college credit for students and graduate college credit for the participating teachers.

For details including the information for the schools willing to join PLTW network please visit the national PLTW website at www.pltw.org

Please feel free to browse through our web pages. Many of them are under construction at this point indicating the growth of our program.
