Available within the Nessmith Lane Continuing Education Building The Emerging Technology Center at Georgia Southern University provides facilities for support of activities of the University utilizing distance technology. Emerging Technology delivers materials from courses, programs, activities or events where the instructor and student are separated by time and/or space. The goal of this program is to provide students with an educational opportunity equal to that in the traditional classroom. Electronic delivery technologies available include: satellite downlink, on-line courses, and two way interactive video conferencing.
