TEACH FOR US!

The Continuing Education Center at Georgia Southern University is actively recruiting instructional proposals which feature innovative ideas for classes, workshops, trainings, lectures, and other educational experiences for professional (corporations and businesses) development, personal development and leisure. Our target audiences are the general public, professionals, seniors and youth. Faculty, staff and the general public are encouraged to respond to this Call for Proposals.

Please explore our website to read our proposal guidelines and access the online proposal submission form. The website also features several program ideas that need qualified instructors as soon as possible. We look forward to hearing from you.

Review Process

Proposals will be reviewed by a committee of continuing education professionals.

Instructors whose proposals are selected for potential development will be invited for an interview and given the opportunity to teach a sample class.

Presentations that meet the committee's criteria will be fast-tracked for development into actual programs, and once a program is scheduled, instructors receive a teaching contract to sign.

The decision of the review committee regarding your proposal is final.

Electronic Submissions Only!

Proposals must be submitted through the online submission form and should include a brief description, number of student contact hours, intended learning outcomes, rationale, target audience, student materials needed and information about the instructor (availability, biographical sketch, qualifications, past teaching experience in the subject area).

Please access the online proposal submission form here and then send your resume via email attachment to: tbretti@georgiasouthern.edu.
