Adventures in Science through Teaching, Exploration, and Resourceful Stewardship (ASTERS) trains teachers in specific topics in science, then helps them explore those topics with their students. Each ASTERS unit includes a two-to three-week classroom study paired with a content-rich class trip to the Garden.  ASTERS programs are specially designed to align with GPS in specific grades.

ASTERS Teachers receive a stipend, 3 PLU credits, bus money for the field trip, and curriculum.

For more information on the ASTERS program contact Kathy Tucker, Education Coordinator, ktucker@georgiasouthern.edu or 912.871.1503.
