Information for Teachers  

Georgia Southern Botanical Garden educates students of all ages through its on-site programs. Students experience the wonders of nature first-hand by participating in interactive tours and activities.

Programs at the Garden are designed to give teachers flexibility in scheduling and meeting curriculum requirements. We are currently attaching the Georgia Performance standards met by each program as a link beside the title of the program. To convert Quality Core Curriculum standards to Georgia Performance Standards, please visit www.georgiastandards.com. Programs vary in length, and lead teachers should consult Garden staff on scheduling and curriculum needs.

There is a $2 per participant fee in Garden educational programs to cover programming costs. In case of limited resources, please contact Carolyn Altman at 912.486.7816.
