      You can never be quite sure what you’ll see in there, but it’s sure to be interesting! Things will pop, change color, stick together, spin around and go splat. You can wrap yourself up in a bubble, and wrap your mind around some surprising chemical properties. Come on in and get physical with physical science and return as experiments in the exhibit change!

Going to the Gobi
Searching for fossils in Mongolia
January 28, 2008 to March 16, 2008

       Follow the Museum’s Curator of Paleontology on a journey into the Gobi desert in search of 50 million year old fossils and join in the excitement of discovery. Along the way you will learn the secrets paleontologists use to find and collect fossils and meet nomadic herders who helped the expedition find its way.
