Academic Projects
Students are encouraged to develop class assignments that study and improve museum
operations, evaluate and develop museum materials, or expand knowledge related
to objects in our collections.
Student Internships
Internships may be paid or unpaid, and have been completed successfully through
the Art Department and through Communication Arts. Internships are developed
in conjunction with a faculty member in the student’s department and may
involve academic credit.

Outreach Programs office has activity kits and lesson
plans which are available for student teachers.
