Work or Volunteer

Student Assistants
Work study and student assistant positions are offered each year at the Museum to undergraduate students who come from any major and who complete work in education, graphic design, operations, and our school outreach programs office.

Student Internships
Internships may be paid or unpaid, and have been completed successfully through the Art Department and through Communication Arts. Internships are developed in conjunction with a faculty member in the student’s department and may involve academic credit.

Graduate Assistants
The Museum currently budgets two graduate assistantships. These assistantships are generally offered in education and graphic design, but other opportunities may be developed depending upon the applicant pool.

Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer opportunities are available on a project basis. Organizations and individuals typically develop a project related to their interests and career goals with a Museum staff member. Projects range from 10 to 100 service hours.
