As Dean of Continuing Education and Public Service
at Georgia Southern University, I am extremely pleased to be a part
of our Performing Arts Center. If you are new to our PAC, I welcome
you; if you are a repeating audience member, you would seem as impressed
as I am with your concert hall.
Our performing arts center begins its sixth season
and I think you’ll agree it’s a great line-up of concerts
and shows. The performing arts center is an open door to Georgia
Southern University and as such has become the cultural center of
southeast Georgia. Every concert and performance has as its context
a correlation to our community. That is, the PAC Director picked
each performance for how it would entertain, inform and inspire
our community. No wonder we have so many subscribers.
The range of this season will go from country
music star Roy Clark to the Broadway show Rent. In between these
two wildly different but truly world class performances there is
Lee Greenwood's Christmas Show and Shakespeare's play, Julius Caesar, and so much more.
Please introduce yourself to me when you see me
in the lobby. I’m proud to be a part of GSU and our community.
Sincerely, Dean Continuing Education and Public Service
